Just got to watch Memoirs of a Geisha. I haven't seen Crash yet but it better be the best damn movie ever made. Capote too.

The story telling and craft that went into Geisha mixed with the best score I have heard from Williams in years should have at least gotten a nomination for best picture and director but it didn't.

I couldn't believe how good it was.

As i have noticed, movies that do not receive award and movies the critics do not score well are usually the great ones.

I saw this movie last week and I enjoyed it - I go for female-centered movies, especially when sisters are involved. Then I call up my sister and squeal, "SISTEEEEEEEEEEEEERS!!" into the phone.

This movie has also gotten my hooked on cello music. I cant get enough Yo-yo Ma and Apocyliptica is now one of my favorite bands.
