It's been a month at least. I want it man. I need it bad. I'm hurtin' here. Just a little bump. A little tip from the dropper to the rocket in my goldn' arm man.
What did the wine taste like?
Was there any cheese?
Did you ever get to see the Olympics?
Do you hate Dick Button's commentary as much as I do?
How's the graphic novel coming?
What's up with the Vertigo and Gold Circle deal?
And before you publish your next journal entry you should post it here so the members of this board can help you with the conceptual problems. I have a few notes I want to give you on the last one dealing with the quality of the lighting in your pictures. You have no third light ambiance man. The viewer needs that for the background depth. Have you considered shooting the pics from the POV of a voyeur ala Polanski?
The picture of the Starbucks was amazing. The juxtaposition of the conflicting elements has a hypnotic quality. The building itself is old-world south of the border and the road leading to it suggests that not being IN the Starbucks is to be beneath it. The bright yellow "M" in the background is a statement of the corporate greed that is eating up our peripheral perceptual perspective. Great picture man.
I think we need to lose it though. Its a little to middle America.
And after that we need to have a meeting. I am a little worried about the holistic direction of this project. We might need to just drop the whole thing.
As a matter of fact don't post to your journal just yet.
I'll set up a meeting with my guy's secretary's assistant to meet with you.
Sometime.
