Was that not one of the best season enders ever shot? It's the best writing on TV in my opinion. Other shows are good...solid even. But I'm not sure any show takes me on the emotional ride that Deadwood does. Just plain dig it.
Watched it last night and it was absolutely fantastic. This is my new favorite show. It's astonishing how much plot and poignancy they manage to cram into an hour.

Thanks for sending us the boxset to watch. We just finished episode 4 (holy shit!
) and we've been loving every minute of it. Every single episode is like its own movie, and it adds just another piece to the puzzle. Such a great experience - I'll let you know once we get to the end of season one!
Just wait until you see the rest of the season... it only gets better after that...

I couldn't stop laughing after Cy took care of the two teenage thiefs. It was just so great to finally see Cy being the hardcore badass that we knew he could be.
