Has anyone seen Spitfire(1994)?? With Lance Henriksen??? OMG its hillarious...I mean soo bad pee in your pants funny!!
Curtesy IMDB
A pre-story sequence with Lance Henriksen as a super-spy and an opening credits obviously ripping off the James Bond themes gives hope for a spy story or spoof in the Bond mode. However, the story quickly opens with former USA gymnastics champion Kristie Phillips in the lead role as the spy's unknowing gymnast daughter who gets caught up in the spy's attempts to keep Ukranian missile launch codes from falling into the wrong hands. Sarah Douglas shows up as the Soviet spy trying to get the codes back and willing to kill anyone to get them including Phillips' Mother and brother. Tim Thomerson also appears as a journalist reporting on the gymnasts who gets caught up in the events.
What are some of everyone elses favorites?
Mel

I really to hate to say it, but some of my favorite movies that would fit this genre are actually regarded as true classics of cinema. Most of them fit into the 'Film Noir' classification and include the likes of "Mildred Pierce," "Double Indemdity," and "Caged."
I am almost not wanting to put them into this catagory, but with the way that people's taste have changed over the years and views, these films, with today's standards, would almost play off as comedies, though they are very serious.
Now...to go further in this catagory, I want to expand the decade that was King for these type of films, the "B," or maybe even "Z" rated films if you will...
The Ilsa series starring the incredible Dyanne Thorne. Never before had such an assault on the sense or taste befallen a movie. From bombs planted inside vaginas that were activated by thrusting, to a briage of inhuman testing going on within a society or to the 'hero' in one being left to die in a huge mound of dung...the Ilsa series is the perfect example of wonderful below average movie fair.
I am also a huge fan of the Pam Grier films of the 70's such as "Foxy Brown," "Black Mama, White Mama" and the best of the bunch "Coffey." "Coffey" is nothing more than a female Charles Bronson in any movie that he did who doesn't give a damn about anything around her exept for the revenge of those that she feels have been done wrong. Many of these also feature appearances by the wonderful Sid Heig.
These are just a few, but Mel, so glad to see that someone else appreciates these films as much as what I do. Hopefully one of these days, we will find ourselves in a situation to where we can enjoy some of them together. That would be a hoot!
Man there is this doozy that was made here in Australia called "Blood Moon". Now this film is so pitiful it doesn't even have an IMDB listing I found. I found a place (
http://www.allaboutmovies.com.au) where I can pick up a copy on VHS and I'm debating whether or not to seeing my stepsister is in it.
"One by one, the girls of the exclusive St. Elizabeth's boarding school are disappearing without a trace. Someone or something is stalking the dark bushland surrounding the school. The only clue is a blood-soaked necklace of barbed wire."
The exclusive school? Wtf. Clue? Err more like FUCKING EVIDENCE YOU RETARDS.
The people in this movie are equally as stupid as the ones who wrote the blurb too, like these two dumb scrags are busting in to their teachers room (oh yeah the teacher is the killer too oops) and they find like eyes and fingers in his cabinet. He comes in and offs one while the other stands and watches, then he grabs her and beats her head into the desk until she dies.
CUT to the final chase in the movie, guess whos still dead in the classroom like days later? The bitch he killed and NOBODY at school noticed. Wtf? I could go on and on with how tard this movie is but I think it's best seen to be believed. If I get a copy I'll be glad to send you guys all one free of charge

Now that is what I am talking about!! The fact it cannot even be found on IMDB is even more juicy! hehehe
Mel

I ordered a copy :P I'll get a copy done in NTSC out at the University whenever it arrives if you'd like!
Coffey makes me giggle. I love B-Movies of all kinds, comedies like the Vice Academy series, and horror like Slumber Party Massacre. Wow i already love this thread! Thanks Mel!!! :~)
