I think that our gov. has the technology and capability to monitor seismic activity and CREATE it. Whether its for the prevention of much larger earthquakes or testing for larger global matters...I am on the fence. It just seems logical to want to have controlled releases of pressure and tension to prevent the major catastrophes.

Mt. St. Helens anyone?

I believe they have something that can change the weather patterns that was demonstrated by our recent 4 hurricanes in 6 weeks in the southeast. I know for a fact they have machines that can produce o-zone (you probably have one in your air conditioner too), which is a good thing. Speaking of o-zone, apparently the hole there is starting to close back up. Yay! Priuses all around!
